The original workshop photograph shows the contrast between the marked lining and the cleaned fabric. A surface re-wax alone would leave the inside untreated.

Can you clean the inside of my Belstaff jacket?
Yes. Our waxed-cotton service cleans inside and outside, including the lining. This is an important part of addressing accumulated dirt and stale odours before hand re-waxing.
Can you work on an old Belstaff Trialmaster?
We assess suitable vintage waxed-cotton Trialmaster jackets as well as modern garments. Fabric strength, previous repairs, staining and the availability of suitable materials all affect what can be achieved. Send photographs and any history you know.
Can a mouldy or musty Belstaff be restored?
Many waxed garments affected by damp storage can be cleaned and made wearable again. Results depend on the fabric and the extent of contamination or damage. Permanent staining or weakened material may remain, so each jacket is assessed individually.
How much does Belstaff jacket cleaning cost?
The price depends on garment size and length, wax finish, condition, any repairs and return postage. Use our current cleaning and re-waxing price list for the published charges and supplements.
Can I send a Belstaff for re-waxing or repairs only?
We offer a complete cleaning and re-waxing service. Repairs and alterations are assessed as part of that work; we do not offer wax-only, clean-only or repair-only services.
Will the colour or feel change after re-waxing?
Fresh wax normally deepens the colour, and some finishes feel oilier or stickier at first. The result depends on the original fabric and previous treatment. We do not promise a factory-new finish or complete waterproofing. Read the wax-finish information and service limitations before choosing.
Do you clean every type of Belstaff jacket?
This service is for suitable waxed-cotton garments. A Belstaff label alone does not confirm suitability because the brand also makes other types of clothing. Send clear photographs of the garment and care labels if you are unsure.
